The Fatal Vision® Opioid Campaign Kit features tools to raise awareness about opioid-impaired driving through engaging activities. This kit includes the DIES® Mat, which offers a realistic demonstration of the risks associated with opioid-impaired driving.
Four Types of Impairment Simulations:
- Divided Attention Failure: Participants experience reduced awareness and slower responses.
- Nodding Out: The goggles mimic opioid-induced nodding off with partial and full blackouts.
- Contrast Sensitivity Impairment: A special film on the goggles reduces peripheral vision.
- Heaviness in the Extremities: Wrist weights simulate opioid-induced sluggishness and lack of coordination.
By simulating the effects of opioid use, participants gain awareness of how easily addiction can occur and learn about the severe risks associated with opioid impairment. PATENT PENDING.
