A NASRO & Innocorp Collaboration
to Stop Distracted Driving

The National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) and
Innocorp, ltd. are joining forces to stop a leading killer of today’s
youth - traffic crashes. A total of 19,076 fifteen to nineteen year olds
were killed in crashes over a 4 year period (CDC). Focusing on a growing
cause of traffic crashes among our youth, NASRO and Innocorp, ltd are
using an evidence-based approach to reach and teach our teen and young
adult drivers to avoid distractions and stay focused on driving. Mind,
Eyes, Two Hands On Driving (M.E.T.H.O.D.)™ is an approach for reaching
our youth and convincing them that texting and driving injures and
kills. Innocorp, with help from social researchers, is developing this
distracted driving prevention initiative.

Your organization, along with NASRO and Innocorp, will launch a National tour in 2011 to high profile high schools educating students and ultimately stopping injuries and fatalities that result from talking or texting on a cell phone while driving.
